Leiden: A. W. Sijthoff's, 1929. Softcover. Very Good. Softcover. [IN DUTCH] Jacobus van Looy (1855-1930) was a Dutch painter and writer who worked as a literary editor and had approximately a dozen publications. Op Reis was one of his later works, published in 1929, one year before his death. This volume is #148 of a limited edition of 200. Very scarce outside of The Netherlands. It is printed on Japanese paper in the Grotius type of S.H. de Roos. Large octavo (9/5" x 6.75". Grey papers wrappers with title in black to front wrapper and spine, and publisher's logo in red to front wrapper. Wrappers show light sunning on edges and spine. Small closed tear at top of spine. Stitched binding. Minor foxing to inside front endpaper and title page. Otherwise, pages are clean and bright. Blue mark next to copy number on colophon page. 55 pages, plus colophon.
