About This Item
Hardcover first edition with dust jacket, published by Little, Brown, 2001. The Dalai Lama offers a basic understanding of Buddhism. Drawing on three ancient Buddhist texts, he explains the key ways that Buddhist practitioners have cultivated compassion in their lives. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Jacket has some minor wear at the tips of the corners and a small tear of less than 1/4" at the top right corner of the back panel. Black colored boards, with the author name and title imprinted on the spine in red. Boards are flat, the corners of the boards are not bumped or creased. 189 pages. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are clean. Binding is tight and square. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not a stock photo.
