A manual on all matters relating to the science and art of organ tonal appointements and divisional apportionment with compound expression," 519 page treatise by the self-appointed organ architect and apostle of enclosure. It includes numerous b/w photos and illustrations, and Audsley's own meticulous drawings of details of pipe construction, tables of scales for multiple halving-ratios, etc. It concludes with his original specification for the St. Louis Exposition organ that later grew into the Wanamaker organ. A rough copy, cover detached but binding fairly solid. Owner's name and 1919 date on ffep, otherwise unamrked.
