Ward, Lock & Co., 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 384 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with decorations. Black and white illustrated frontispiece. Moderate cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, pages are loose. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Paper worn away to front pastedown. Pencil inscription and marker pen to title page and rear of frontispiece. Ffep cut out. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends causing fraying to cloth. Tears to cloth to spine. Staining to rear board.
