About This Item

San Francisco: New College of California, 1990. Vintage "Harm Farm and The Heads of the Town Join Various Poetic Performers to Celebrate the Publication of NCOC's Poetics Journal Prosodia" poster, for a performance at San Francisco's New College Valencia Center, Saturday, June 30, 1990.

The critically acclaimed Harm Farm were an alternative San Francisco band, whose use of violin and ethnic folk and country forays, often drew comparisons to Camper Van Beethoven (which Harm Farm's original violinist, Morgan Fichter, would later join). Comprised of bassist Brad Mossman (aka Brad Pedinoff), drummer Melanie Clarin, guitarist and cellist Tom Hallenbeck, and violinist and drummer Noah Chasin, Harm Farm released two albums, "Spawn" and "Nice Job, Einstein" in 1990 and 1991 respectively, before disbanding in the early 1990s.

Prosodia was the New College of California's (NCOC) influential poetics journal and was an integral part of NCOC's Poetics Program throughout the 1990s

11 x 17 inches on peach colored paper. Very Good plus, with a vertical and a horizontal crease, and light rubbing and creasing overall.
