About This Item

London: George Allen & Unwon, 1937. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good. A solid copy of the 1937 1st edition of this uncommon look at various pre-War, off-beat careers in Europe. Tight and VG+ (light bumping along the front panel's top-edge) in a bright, VG dustjacket, with some soiling (and light abrading) to the panels and mild creasing along the edges. Still though, very presentable. Thick octavo, 281 pgs. plus publisher's ads at the rear.
