New York: Henry J. Johnson. Good+. 1881. Hardcover. Bound in half-leather, with leather spine and corners. There is shelf wear and rubbing to the spine edges and corners. Some fading and scuffing to the leather. Corners are rubbed through. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. Beautifully illustrated with 12 steel-engraved illustrations and over 500 illustrations. This volume deals almost exclusively with the American Revolution, the events leading up to it, and the events closely following. ; Volume 2 .
