The binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome copy; structurally sound and tightly bound, showing mild wear only. Bright and Clean. Close to "As New". NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 12mo. (6.75 x 4.5 x 1 inches). 576 pages. Introduction by the Editor. Language: Italian. Full leather dark brown calf over boards with gilt titles at the backstrip The backstrip shows raised bands and gilt titles. Marbled endpapers with gilt designs surrounding the pastedown endpapers, front and rear. All Edges Gilt. Probably the blue cloth edition of 1912 rebound by a previous owner, but we find no explicit evidence of this. Weight: 15.5 ounces. Full Leather Binding.
