A note from the publisher tipped after the text states: "The letterpress of this book is here reprinted exactly as it was passed for press by the late Mr. Andrew Lang, although some of the illustrations referred to are not included in it. This edition has been re-set and illustrated afresh with the colored pictures which appear amonsgst its pages." Quarto. 10'' x 7.5''. Original blue pictorial cloth with elaborate Art Nouveau design. Illustrated by Carline with 16 tipped-in color plates on heavy dark green paper. 223, [1] pages. Line of discoloration to fore-edges of boards, a couple small faint abrasions to rear board.
