Orig. published in 1907, this is a later (post-1935, likely mid-century) Reilly & Lee reprint, with the NO color plates, but lavishly illustrated in pen-and-ink by John R. Neill throughout the book's 270 pages. Likely a mid-century printing, as the endpapers are now blank; all other illustrations remain the same. Light blue cloth over boards, with a brilliantly colored paper pastedown to front cover & black lettering & design to spine (fancy publisher script, not plain). Condition is VG+: incredibly clean & crisp, binding straight & strong, pages creamy white with light tanning, heavier to endpapers, but completely unmarked; ownership box is blank. Very slight corner bumping & rubbing to extremities. The front pastedown is brilliant & bright, marred only by slight scraping to outer bottom corner. A very attractive copy!
