This book is in poor condition. Heavy scuffing and tearing to entire spine and around edges of boards. Moderate scuffing and staining to both boards. Both hinges are cracked exposing mesh at pastedowns. No color plates. Lacking rear endpaper. Previous owner's name on front endpaper. Interior pages are clean.
It is the first Oz book where the majority of the action takes place outside of the Land of Oz. Only the final two chapters take place in Oz itself.
