London: T Fisher Unwin, 1892. First edition thus (hardback). 4to (34cm by 26cm), xlii, 239pp. 110 illustrations. Bound in white parchment, with red morocco title labels to the spine. The binding is somewhat rubbed, the endpapers are spotted and dusty, and there is a bookplate to the front pastedown; overall, the book is in good condition.
