In 1983, the Museum of Cultural History at the University of California signed an agreement with the Instituto Nacional de Cultura in Peru to develop a five-year archaeological research project at Pacatnamu, a spectacular ancient city located on the North Coast of Peru. This volume is the second publication on the results of that research. White card cover with black titling and illustration, French flaps, black and white frontispiece, illustrated throughout with black and white photographs, diagrams and maps, as well as several colour plates, 299 pages. Cover has light shelf wear, some pale stains on back cover and a few pale smudges, book is clean and tight. Book is overweight. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
