About This Item

Indianapolis & New York: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc, 1971. First edition. First edition, first printing. Unpaginated. Bound in publisher's yellow cloth with red spine lettering. Very Good, foxed cloth and endpapers, in a Very Good+ price-clipped dust jacket, lightly shelf worn, foxing to verso.

The rare first separate published book by experimental musician, artist, and performance artist Laurie Anderson, best-known for her song "O Superman," a surprise hit in the UK in 1981 that doesn't sound like any pop song before or since. This small (4.5" x 5.75") book is a wordless graphic novel.
