About This Item
Whitney, ON: Friends of Algonquin Park, 2003. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. pp: 267. The story of Esther Keyser is not unlike that of other noteworthy Algonquin guides; men like Joe Lavally, and Frank Kuiack, who fell in love with the park and spent their lives guiding tourists and fishermen. Keyser talks about her life in the park, and her experiences guiding others. The text is complimented with many photographs, including a section of colour shots. This is a very good copy with moderate edge wear on the covers. The spine is free of creases, and the text is free of markings and notes, with the exception of a gift inscription on the half-title page.
