Fine in a lightly nicked dust jacket with chipping to the spine ends, a partial tear to spine, and a few marks.. 8vo, 310pp; polished black cloth with gilt stamping and leather spine label, black coated endpapers. Limited edition of 1250 numbered (1145) copies, the second of Liveright's re-issues of Huneker's only novel. The illustrator, known publicly as Madame Majeska, was the Philadephia-born designer Henriette Stern who, in addition to her popular work in the graphic arts, designed costumes for the Ziegfeld Follies among others.
