Two very clean very tight copies with bright unmarked boards, very minor foxing to end papers and page edges and minor bumping to upper rear corner of text volume. 231 +231 pp, Detailed examination of the collection of 18th and 19th century English art by Paul Mellon and his wife. Volume one includes a twenty page introduction followed by a listing of over 400 paintings and their description and provenance. Volume two comprises about 220 of the paintings displayed full-page, mostly black & white but a few in colour. A heavy set. We do not use stock photos, the picture displayed is of the actual book for sale. Every one of our books is in stock in the UK ready for immediate delivery.. First Edition. Hard Cover.
