Norman: University of Oklahoma; (1976). First Thus . Trade Paperback. Trade paperback copy of this "New Edition" near fine in wraps. Very slight sunning to spine; minor edgewear to cover. Drawings by Robert A. Garland, Foreword by Steve Wilson. Includes drawings, a few photographs, and an index; 225 pages. First appeared as a three-part series in the Great Plains Journal in 1973 - 1974. Inscribed by the author on the title page: "Dr. David L. Moddox whose roots are in the Wichitas. Best regards, Paul McClung December, 1976". Illustrator's signature on the frontispiece below his photograph.
