This is the author's history of his youth, from birth in the small town of Stephenville through a series of homes in various parts of west Texas, and finally his college days at Texas Tech and combat duty in World War II. His prose in smooth, his memory sharp, and the pages are full of humor and feeling for himself and others. A clean very presentable copy.
