Edinburgh: Bertrams Limited, 1892. 1st Edition . Cloth. Good/Issued Without Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Appr. 174 pp. (including 12 pp. of ads), 38 b/w plates. 6 folding plates. Also includes PAPER TESTING by W. Hertzberg (London, 1892), appendix. Illustrations of paper making machinery. The contents are in v.g. cond. w/a small bump to the lower right hand corner of some pp. The plates are all in v.g. cond. Brown cloth hard cover binding has gold stamping to the front & rear covers & spine. Former owner's name is written on the front cover, the corners & head & heel of the spine show some wear but overall in good cond. Unusual and rare.
