USA: Ziff-Davis Publishing Co., 1947. approx. 100pgs. blue boards with gilt embossed lettering on the front panel. There is light bumping to the bottom corners, otherwise a clean, unmarked copy. Unclipped pictorial jacket is partially detached at the spine, held nicely by a mylar sleeve. Black and white photographs of the people of Paris, a backdrop of Notre Dame, Versailles and the banks of the Seine. With text by Elliot Paul. His focus is on the citizenry of Paris, which gives the reader a feeling of what the people are like. The book design is by the renowned innovator Alexey Brodovitch.. First Edition. Hardcover.
