About This Item
Parliamentary Representation, 1832 England and Wales by J. Holladay Philbin.
Hardback, 1965, first edition, with a series of colour foldout maps at rear, published by Yale University Press New Haven, Conneticut, 416 pages + xxxvi.
Measures around 9 1/2" by 6 1/4" by 1 3/4". Ex-library book with typical markings, stamps, reference numbers, etc. but these are not too obtrusive. No dust jacket. Black cloth binding, red label and gilt lettering to spine. A crease and a discoloured patch to spine with library reference number written in gold pen. A little scuffing and slight marking but quite clean, some signs of shelf-wear, slightly bumped corners. Binding firm. Page edges a little browned, marked and scuffed. Page surfaces clean (aside from any library markings, which seem anyway to be confined to pastedowns and spine) with no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
