About This Item

Paris: Philippe Renouard, 1903. An anonymous essay on the charitable and good works of Mademoiselle E. Lozuet, followed by the eulogy spoken at her grave-side by M.J.C. Lozuet was clearly a compassionate woman, who anonymously gave away all of the income she inherited in good works. Half black leather binding, with black marbled boards. Gilt title to spine. A little rubbing to the edge of the boards. Marbled end papers. Sepia photograph of Mademoiselle Lozuet and tissue guard, followed by the two essays. Good clean copy, with just a few light foxing spots. There is a slight bowing to the boards, but not major. 12 pages. 260 by 165mm (10¼ by 6½ inches). . 12 pages. 260 x 165 mm
