Humboldt, TN, 20 September 1967.. Three closely typed leaves, on rectos only of three 8.5 x 17" (43.5 x 21 cm) folded sheets of yellow paper. Very good. Captioned at top edge of first sheet: "Rush revision 20 September 1967 -- Humboldt, Tennessee pages 1-9 top." Closely typed, with frequent revisions and omissions marked in ink. The story was published in the Feb. 1968 issue of THE ATLANTIC.
