Publisher's original red cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with minor bumping at the spine tips and corners, the cloth a touch faded to the spine. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owner's marks. Complete with the very clean original dustwrapper that remains without loss or tears but with the red lettering on the spine faded to a pale pink. Not price-clipped (£1.25 net / 25s net to the lower front flap). Signed by Agatha Christie in black ink on the front end paper. The last of Agatha Christie's spy novels, the publication marking her 80th birthday and (by counting up both UK and US short-story collections to reach the desired total), also advertised as her 80th book. Signed copies are scarce. (Hubin; Wagstaff & Poole; Curran, John: The Hooded Gunman). Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request. Lucius Books welcomes direct contact with our customers.
