Special Edition privately printed for the members of The Classics of Neurology & Neurosurgery Library. This is copy no. 225 of 1,000 from the library of John Edmeads. xv, [3],444 p.p. Includes a 12 p.p. pamphlet about the author. Publishers genuine leather binding in orange with boards decoratively stamped in gilt. Title on spine stamped in 22-karot gold. Leather bookplate of John Edmeads on front pastedown endpaper. Light rubbing to edges, extremities. Coners slightly curled. Otherwise interior clean. A near fine copy. Dr. John Edmeads [1936-2006] was a Canadian neurologist and world renowned specialist on headaches and migraines. He practiced at Sunnybrook Hospital and was an award winning lecturer at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine.
