About This Item
Synopsis
For more than fifty years, Charles M. Schulz and the whole Peanuts gang have delighted millions of readers around the world. Unlike many cartoonists of his day, Mr. Schulz drew every strip without an art staff and ultimately penned more than 17,000 comic strips. At the time of his death in February 2000, the Peanuts comic strip was carried in more than 2,600 newspapers. Mr. Schulz posthumously received the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest honor Congress can bestow upon a civilian.
