Probably 2nd issue (1904), SMALL format 103 x 83 mm, 4¼ x 3¼ inches, 64 pages including prelims, bound in the original publisher's cream and green boards with pearl necklace illustration to upper cover, all edges gilt. Selections start in the 15th century and include inscriptions and epitaphs and some by named poets such as Herrick, George Herbert, Thomas Tusser, Horace and Spenser. No inscriptions, slight browning to free endpapers, otherwise a Fine copy in the original glassine DUSTWRAPPER (dw: very slightly worn at head and tail of spine and corners, slightly browned). 2 copies in Copac are dated 1903.
