Pegasus Bridge was the first engagement of D-Day in 1944 and was crucial to the success of the Normandy Invasion. Landing in gliders, British troops seized the bridge, drove off the German troops, and paved teh way for the Allied invasion of Europe. Based on eyewitness accounts from British, French, and German sources. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
