Copies such as this surviving with unrestored examples of the illustrated dust jacket are scarce. Octavo. Original red cloth titled in black. With illustrated dust jacket. Illustrated frontispiece and three other plates, and a full page black and white map in the text. Near-fine copy in a very good example of the jacket, chipped at the head (with loss of "cidar" in the title) but otherwise only minor loss from foot of spine panel and outer corners, a few small closed tears along top edge.
