Harrisburg, PA: The Stackpole Company, 1960. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Quarto, 11.6 in. x 8.7 in., pp. 376. Limited edition, No. 28, signed by the author on the front free endpaper. Illustrated with black and white photographs. Cushioned leatherette boards with gilt title to front and spine. A few scuffs and scrapes to leatherette, with open tears to spine headband and wear to corners. Previous owner's bookplate to verso of front free endpaper. Spine and hinges tight. Previous owner was M. L. Biscotti, an antiquarian bookseller with a passion for sporting literature.
