Color frontispiece and double color center spread plus many b/w line drawings. No writing or marks in book, no tears. DJ has lots of wear- chips tears along edge of dj flap, rubbed spots - protected from further damage in clean Brodart jacket. This is a wonderful story about a riding academy horse who longs to be privately-owned. When she is purchased for an insecure boy because of her kindness and wisdom - not her looks! - she ends up helping to turn the young boy's life around. 120 pages..
