Baltimore: Geo. Willig, Jr., 1830. Sheet_music. Good. Engraved by L. W. Webb, who specialized in music engraving. [2] leaves: music; 32 cm. Removed from a volume of sheet music published from 1825 to 1850 with former owner's name on the front: "E. C. K. Seymour." Contains song with lyrics and keyboard accompaniment. No date of publication but apparently first published in 1830. The composer and lyricist was James G. Drake (1802-1850), a member of a prominent theatrical family in Kentucky. Scarce. In Good Condition: lightly soiled; 1-cm. closed tear from fore-edge of first leaf and 3-cm. closed tear from fore-edge of second leaf.
