It is not merely an avalanche but a complete overturning of supposedly everlasting massifs. "Now that the reader appreciates the consequences implied by the identification of the Pereset with the Persians, we invite him to follow closely the further evidence in order not to be persuaded of what is unproven, or guided to what is but an illusory picture of the past."
