Boston, MA: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1880., 1880.. Very good. - Octavo, 10 inches high by 6-1/2 inches wide. Softcover, bound in original printed salmon-color wrappers titled in black on the spine. The edges of the covers are slightly chipped with a couple of horizontal tears to the spine and chipping to the head and tail of the spine. The covers are lightly creased.Pages 1-8 consisting of ads printed on green stock, deckle-edged pages [145] - 288, and ad pages 9-16. There is foxing to the overlapping edges of a few leaves. Very good.

The contents of this issue include "Pepacton: A Summer Voyage" by John Burroughs, "Edward Mills and George Benton. A Tale" by Mark Twain, "Among the Pueblos" by Susan E. Wallace, and a poem, "The Archbishop and Gil Blas" by Oliver Wendell Holmes.
