New York: Junior Literary Guild/Scribner's, 1952. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Blue cloth with a little raccoon on front board, 8vo, 169 pages, black and white illustrations by Barbara Cooney. Dust jacket a bit toned and edge worn with chipping at extremities, two small scuff marks on front spine edge, now in protective mylar cover. The story of a boy and his pet raccoon, based on the author's son and his own pet raccoon.
