Very Good in Good Dust Jacket. Rear hinge a bit cracked else tight binding; clean pages and covers; only light wear; dust jacket has some wear, small tears and chips; tape on all corners; price not clipped ($3.00).
Author was Rodin's private secretary for seven months in 1906 and gives an excellent portrait of the great sculptor.
"This book is no less critical than biographical. The first few chapters give a résumé of Rodin's life and the last two or three are devoted to intelligent but unrestrained criticism of the man and his work. The middle chapters are more properly personal reminiscences as they are written from the author's notes gathered while he was Rodin's secretary in 1906."--ALA.
Very scarce in dust jacket.
