Very good. 249 pages. 32.5 x 26 cm. 245 illustrations -- photographs, plans to scale, buildings, interior designs, factories and drawings. Frontispiece of Behrens by Max Libermann with tissue guard. Text in German. Index of Illustrations. Behrens a foundation member of the German Werkbund in 1907 was an acclaimed architect, graphic and industrial designer also known for his "Brick Expressionism." Some of the leading names in European modernism worked for him, including Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius. Clean fresh copy. Front cover lower corner bumped.
