USA: Scribners, 1940. First Edition Thus . Cloth. Very Good ++/Near Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Edmund Blampied. 1st Edition 1940. A very rare book with the original dust jacket. Wonderful twelve full colour and seventeen black and white illustrations by Edmund Blampied. One of the finest editions of 'Peter Pan' ever produced. Book is very good++ with nice bright boards. Contents very good except for the first few pages that have foxing splodges. The complete wrapper is very good+ and bright. Edges and spine tips lightly rubbed and nicked. A few closed tears to edges. Archival reinforcement and strengthening to spine tips/edges. Tape remenents can be seen lightly through the wrapper. Spine lightened. Price clipped.
