Extremely rare Initial Teaching Alphabet experimental edition of the New Basic Readers of Fun with our Friends. This was piloted in a few select schools but was abandoned 1-2 years after it began. The I.T.A. was developed by Sir James Pitman and was intended for use with children with extreme reading disabilities. This is a first and ONLY edition printed in 1965.
