32mo. 208 printed pages. All edges gilt, with short ribbon marker & marbled endpapers. Inner gilt dentelles. Printed contemporary bookseller's label on front free endpaper for GOUJON, LIBRAIRE. DE LL. AÁ. ÀR. MADAME LA DUCHESSE DE BERRY. ET MADAME LA DUCHESSE D'ORLÉANS, RUE DU BAC, Nº 33, Paris. Contains a calendar of feast days; morning prayers, evening prayers, prayers before Confession, etc.; the Ordinary of the Mass, some Propers, etc. Illustrated with four black & white engravings of saints and the Blessed Virgin. Printed by J.-M. Eberhart. Text in French, with some Latin (very slight marginal browning). 50 x 82 mm. Original mottled calf, decorated in gilt with sunburst and cross-hatched flower designs within four compartments, roan spine label titled in gilt (moderate edgewear and rubbed corners). Not in Bondy, nor Houghton, nor Spielmann, nor Welsh. WorldCat locates no copies worldwide. Very scarce. No other copy traced in reference books nor in commerce.
