NY: S.M. Pettengill & Co.; (1877). First Edition . Hardcover. Very good in the original brown cloth. The cloth is worn at corners and spine ends. The interior is tight and clean. Small label "Compliments of S.M. Pettengill & Co." affixed to front endpaper. Lists all newspapers, daily and weekly, in the US in 1877. Many pages of advertising, 3 engraved portraits (one is Wm. Cullen Bryant). 345 pages.
