Printed in red and black, several initials heightened in gold. Originally written by the mediaeval bibliophile de Bury shortly before his death in 1345 -- a collection of essays concerning the acquisition, preservation, and organization of books. It is considered "one of the longest extant medieval texts on the subject of library management." one of 297 copies. Index. Partly unopened. Lovely laminated and patterned endpapers, covers dusty.
