About This Item

Berlin: Typis et Impensis Georgii Reimeri, 1896. Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavos. Lxxxxiv, 298, xxxiv, 314, [1]; xxii, 306, xxxii, [2], 307; xxix, [1], 376, [3 pl], lxxvii, [2], 223 pages. Hardcovers bound in 3/4 black cloth with burgundy speckled paper-covered boards. Red cloth labels on the spines. The bindings show some bumping and wear, and there is some splitting to the cloth at the top of the front hinge on Volume I/2 (about a 3 inch split). Smaller (1 inch) split at the top of the rear hinge for volume 5/6. Some of the red cloth spine labels are peeling up at the edgds. The text blocks are sound, and the inner hinges seem secure. Text is toned but generally clean. The bulk of the text is in Greek with the Introduction and notes in Latin. Volume I is dated 1896; volume II is dated 1897; Volume III is 1898; Volume IV is 1902; Volume 5 is 1906; and Volume 6 is 1915.

About Pages Past Used and Rare Books

Pages Past is a small used & rare bookshop located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
