About This Item

New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1975. Near fine in like jacket.. Early printing, boldly inscribed by Warhol with an original drawing of his iconic soup can. Compilation of Warhol's shorter aphoristic sayings and longer pieces, much of it adapted from taped conversations with the artist's collaborators and ghostwriters. Which is to say: an entirely Warholian production. 8.25" x 5.5" Orange cloth over yellow boards, in black printed dust jacket. 241 pages. Inscribed by Warhol in black marker across half-title page with an original drawing of a Campbell's soup can. Minor wear; bright and sharp overall.
