Kallen, and with appendix at rear of volume which presents key dates, family names and a bibliography. --- In Toledano spine 7 / green balloon cloth / limp boards / gilt cover torchbearer / gilt spine titling with interconnected "ML" device / orange Kent endpapers / volume lacks the dust jacket. Likely published c.1935 (no publication date appears in book). ML #114.1. --- With large hole to cloth at heard of spine, two smaller holes to spine cloth, spine sunning, a few scattered pencilings, prior owner's signature to verso of front free endpaper and slightly shaken binding, else a sound, fully readable copy.; 16mo - 6 to 7 in. tall; vii, (2), 375, (6, ads) pages .
