Lacks backstrip, boards detached. Ex-library with no external markings. Inkstamp on title page. Unopened. Needs binding; text clean and tight. Mackenzie was one of the foremost ophthalmologists of his era, and pioneered the symptomatology of glaucoma, and also introduced the term "asthenopia." Woodcut figures and diagrams in the text. Scarce.
