Clean covers and spine with some scuffing remain in good condition; leather remains supple; slight rubbing wear at fore corners; spine gilt largely chipped off; tightly bound; small owner stamp on title page; clean interior with occasional age darkening and few pages with darker stain - not obscuring text or affecting engravings. Full page engraved escutcheon with coat of arms following title page and 46 allegorical copperplate engravings after Boetius a Bolswert numbered 0-45. Woodcut tailpieces. 14 x 8 cm.
