The dust jacket is mostly clean and bright, with some light rubbing and edge wear to the top spine end of the dust jacket. "The Pictorial History series from Ian Allan was highly illustrated series of books covering a wide range of civil and military aviation subjects. Each book comprised a narrative history of typically 100 pages length, followed by a separate section of another 100 pages or so containing b+w photographs printed on glossy paper. The quality of the photos is a bit variable, but many of them were quite rare." (aeroflight aviation books) .
