NY: Knopf, 1923. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good +. Inscribed by Aiken in the ffe in black ink "For Mrs. John Pidgrin/ from Conrad Aiken/ October 17, 1926" Boards somewhat tanned, internals fine. Dustjacket chipped about edges, spine faded, small ink spot (not penetrating through to front cover) front pane. Contemporray clipping frm Boston Globe about Aiken at work at his home on Cape Cod laid-in front with attendant offsetting to ffe.
